An Eternity of Servitude Epilogue
As the pair disappeared into the lamp in a puff of purple smoke, Jasmine collapsed, releasing over a decade of stress in one long exhale. She felt tears begin to leak from her eyes, a rush of joy and sorrow, the latter for a lover warped by power and the former for a menace brought low by the very same. She had been tormented for so long, and now she would finally have her rest. In the absence of a master, she now felt the call of her own vessel, and as she slowly dissolved into smoke, she silently prayed that whoever summoned her next would at least give her time to recuperate.
